Lakers fall to the Hornets

Sunday the Lakers were beat by the Hornets in the first game of the playoffs. Can the Hornets pull an upset and win the series? I say no. The Hornets shot 51% from the field and I do not see that happening again. The Lakers played pretty well but its hard to win when your oppenents are making most their shots. Kobe and Phil Jackson will not let the Lakers fall early they will go pretty far in the playoffs.

    I agree I think that the Lakers will make it past the first round because they have the best coac in Phil Jackson and the best player in Kobe Bryant. No worries.

    There is no way that the Lakers will lose this series. With Kobe Bryant they cant lose, this team has too many good players. The Lakers at least make it past the first round against the Hornets for sure.

    After Kobe's 2 monster dunks in game 5, I think the Lakers have the momentum for the rest of this series and maybe the rest of the playoffs. It seemed like they needed a wake up call and who better to deliver one.
