Bibby to the Heat
Mike Bibby recently agreed to forfeit the 6.2 million dollars he was owed by the Washington Wizards in order to be a free agent and play for the Miami Heat for the league minimum. The 32 year old point guard is happy with his decision and can't wait for the season with the Heat. The question is, will he contribute to the team? I would say no. Bibby was a great player when he was on the Kings but I think that he is out of his prime and his best days are behind him. He is not going to be a big factor on the team and I would keep Mario Chalmers as the starter over Bibby. They both have around the same stats but Chalmers is 24 years old. I would keep in to learn as much as he can and grow more as a player. As for Bibby, I think his career is coming to a slow and close halt.

I am not a big NBA fan, however I remember that Mike Bibby was one of the superstars on the Kings roster many years ago. He is ending his career soon and wants the shot at the title, so I am not surprised with his move to the Heat. Even though he may not be as good as he once was when surrounded by Bosh, Lebron, and Wade, anyone has a chance to contribute.
